Process Engineering, Tools and Fixture Design Group.
The preparation of routing process, tool lists, tools and fixtures design, CN programs, and all the
auxiliary documentation to the process are set up by the people working in this area. The group is
composed, mostly, of Mechanical Engineers, who provide the services to the workshops.
The resources available in this area are: Workstations (PC), equipped with AutoCad, where the design
of tools and fixtures is developed. These computers are also equipped with the latest release of a
CAD-CAM package (Mastercam Lathe y Mastercam Mill), where work piece drawings are made and CN programs
are automatically generated, for any particular CNC machine available in the shop.
